Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing within the body.
A session typically starts with us getting to know one another. We talk about issues you may be having and areas you would like to focus on. Then the healing portion is about 15 minutes. So about 30 minutes total.
Reiki can assist with many different things. Because it brings about a more calm and relaxed feeling within the body, it can assist with pain, headaches, muscle tension, cramps, upset stomach, PTSD, Insomnia, high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, depression and anxiety. (please note that Reiki is not meant to take the place of any medical advice or medication that your Dr. has prescribed. This is meant as a complimentary treatment)
During a Reiki session a person may feel heat, cool or tingles. Some do not feel anything during the session. This does not mean the treatment isn't working. Sometimes people will feel the benefits in the following days after a treatment.
